Hey Tony, this is Hon. Joe Smith's son, Joseph. I read the story of Maddie, and it made me think of my own pride and joy, my little sister Wendy, it made me thankful that we still have her, and I couldn't imagine living without her. My point is, while reading that whole thing, it made me think about alot of things, and it almost brought me to tears knowing that a precious little girl like Maddie would suffer an ill-fate at such a young age, and I know that she must've been pretty scared. All I have to say is that you are a great father for being there for her till the very end, as she probably realized that she didn't have to be afraid. If there is anyway I can help, then feel free to email me! I wish that I could somehow setup a donation system from JDS Publishing to Butterflies for Maddie. Maddie will forever be in my thoughts, and I wish you all the best!

I am so sorry about Maddie. I may only be 11. But thats just something terriable. I will be praying for your poor family I'm so sorry. My friends mother was going to have a child but his umbelicle cord got rapped around his neck and choked him before he was born.
