Feb. 26, 2009 Butterflies for Maddie and Kosairs Children’s Hospital will host the first annual pulmonary conference at Nortons Hospital. This will be educational for the doctors and staff who treat children at Kosairs. The countries leading pulmonary doctor will be sharing his knowledge and expertise to enhance the care the hospital can provide in these cases. We are very excited about this opportunity and want to say thank you to all who have made this possible through your support.
Mary Weldon Wood library has a Maddie Corner filled with childrens books. Please visit and show your support by reading to a child. Visit her area outside and enjoy Maddie's garden for a peaceful place to read or relax.
On March 6th 2009 we went to Kosair Childrens Hospital for Maddie's wall dedication. These are some pics of the friends, family and staff that attended. We want to thank our staff and the wonderful friends we have at Kosairs that helped us get this together and showed a wonderful time. Butterflies for Maddie made a $10000 donation to the hospital while there for the dedicationn and are looking forward to another great year for fundraising.

These are some new pics from Red Cross Elem. school during the "Maddie Day" where they donated over $1500 raised by the staff and students. They sold butterflies and crafts as well as Butterfly T-shirts that they made. The Kosair Childrens hospital was there to help with some information about childhood diseases and helping others. It was a great effort and we want to thank all who participated from Red Cross.
